We attended the I/O Connect in Berlin: here’s why Google’s AI will change the game

Last week, Berlin hosted the Google I/O Connect event, a unique opportunity to dive into the latest technological innovations presented by Google and interact with industry experts from across Europe. CreationDose couldn’t miss this event, and Raffaele, our Co-Founder & CTO, took the opportunity to explore, network, and represent the company’s innovative vision.

During the two-day event, Raffaele had the chance to participate in technical sessions, round tables, and informal discussions with Google teams, delving particularly into technologies related to Mobile, Cloud, Web, and Artificial Intelligence.

“It was extremely stimulating,” commented Raffaele. “Google is heavily investing in AI, and this is reflected in the new products and services presented. Gemma, for example, is a new generative artificial intelligence tool that promises to revolutionize the way we create content. But that’s not all: Google is working to integrate AI into every aspect of our digital lives, making it simpler, more intuitive, and personalized.”

Perhaps the most interesting aspect was the release of version 2 of Gemma, previously announced in May during the main Google I/O event but so far unavailable for use.

This update, following version 1 released in February 2024, demonstrates Google’s commitment to providing Open models for companies to work on.

The event showcased numerous demos and use cases of the Gemini models, Google’s main family of AI models. Among these, one of the most curious cases was a penalty kick AI coach, which created a personalized card offering advice on how to improve kicking technique.

These demonstrations highlight how Google is working to integrate AI into every aspect of our digital lives, making it simpler, more intuitive, and personalized.

Raffaele’s experience at Google I/O Connect confirms CreationDose’s commitment to staying at the forefront of the ever-evolving technological landscape.

We are already exploiting the potential of AI to improve our products and services, and the Berlin event provided further insights and ideas for the future.

Alessandro La Rosa, CEO of CreationDose, concluded: “We are excited to be at the center of this new era of creativity and innovation, where technology merges with passion to create unique and engaging experiences.”
